          "From the Depths of Dark Water") is a Japanese supernatural horror film directed by Hideo Nakata and written by Yoshihiro Nakamura and Kenichi Suzuki, based on the short story collection by Koji Suzuki.

          A single mother going through a messy divorce moves into a rather run down apartment building with her six year old daughter.
